Through strategic planning, education, and coordinated efforts, ensure that all regions are equipped to withstand and recover from fire-related incidents, safeguarding lives, property, and national development

Core Aspirations

  1. Universal Fire Safety: Ensure that every community, regardless of geographic location or socio-economic status, has access to effective fire safety measures and emergency response systems.
  2. Fire Resilience
Empower communities to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from fire-related disasters. Focus on minimizing the loss of life, property, and livelihoods through education, capacity building, infrastructure improvements, and access to resources. Strengthen local and national resilience by integrating fire risk reduction strategies into urban planning, emergency response systems, and community development initiatives. Promote inclusive participation, especially among vulnerable populations, to ensure equitable protection and sustainable recovery.
  3. Global Fire Safety Standards
Advocate for and support the development of universal fire safety standards, guidelines, and best practices. These standards should be designed for global applicability while allowing flexibility for national adaptation. The objective is to enhance fire prevention, detection, response, and recovery practices through harmonized frameworks that promote safety, resilience, and interoperability across international borders. Encourage collaboration among governments, regulatory bodies, industry stakeholders, and fire safety professionals to ensure consistent implementation and continuous improvement.
  4. Community-Led Initiatives:
Foster community-led fire safety initiatives, promoting ownership, participation, and sustainability in fire safety efforts.
  5. Innovation and Collaboration:
Encourage innovation, research, and collaboration among stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, private sector entities, and local communities.
